The aim of this course is to help students understand the fundamentals of database design using Microsoft Access 2007. By the end of the course the students should be able to design a database from first principles using basic normalisation techniques. The students should acquire good skills in Microsoft Access 2007 including the ability to constuct tables and relationships, create forms, queries and reports using available wizards and in design mode.
