This course enables students to critically analyse and manage Internet or intranet websites. The focus is on the management of websites on an appropriate server. This unit is for students wishing to gain a greater understanding of the management and organisation of websites. A pre-requisite of this unit is that students have a good understanding of the basic terminology of the Internet and that they have had direct experience of producing mark-up language based web pages. Students should have completed Communication Technology (Unit 6) and Website Development (Unit 11) before studying this unit.
