This core unit introduces the learners to the practical aspects of designing a database. Learners will be expected to use applications software to a prescribed level in order to design, use basic tools, develop and demonstrate that is fully functional.
This module will cover the fundamentals of database systems, give an insight of database design according to an industry standard and examine SQL statements in detail.
