This unit is aimed at practitioners who need sufficient knowledge to make decisions on the selection/specification of systems and to use computer hardware and software effectively. Students will be shown how to use operating systems to create their own operating environment and participate in its development. Many practitioners communicate with specialist technical support staff during the specification and planning of systems implementation.
